On September 14, 2007, Seasons Gift Shop celebrated its Third Anniversary. It has been a fabulous three years for the Staff and Volunteers who operate this retail space for the sole profit of Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre. Owned and operated by the Volunteer Association, Seasons is a full service gift and lottery shop.

9:00 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday
12:00 noon - 4:00 p.m.

Seasons is closed on: New Years Day, Easter Sunday, Victoria Day, Canada Day, August Civic Holiday, Labour Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and Boxing Day. Seasons will close at 4:00 p.m. on Fridays during July & August.

Seasons has established a solid reputation in the retail community for its unique gift buying experience. Ladies’ accessories dominate the list from a wide variety of stunning seasonal Parsley and Sage jackets, to Bertotti leather handbags, to exquisite silk, cut velour and very unique scarves, shawls, and shrugs. We also provide selective items for our patients from colourful pj’s, to diabetic cookies, chocolates and candies to “Warm Buddy” items. All of our gift purchases leave the shop with our distinctive bags, tissue and matching ribbon complete with our Gold Seal Logo. Our regular customers delight with their purchases that are ready to go. A wide selection of cards for all occasions complete all gift purchases. And when the right gift is just not there that particular day, our flower cooler provides a wide range of floral arrangements to fit all budgets.

Seasons also provides unique postcards showing 4 different views of the architectural beauty of the building and landscape known as Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre. These postcards are very handy for staff, patients and visitors alike. Do drop into Seasons and one our volunteer staff will be happy to show them to you.

Our reputation has spread. Some of our customers come to the hospital just to shop. We have truly arrived. We provide fine shopping in a very friendly, welcoming environment. All the sales staff are volunteers and they choose to serve.

All profits from Seasons Gift Shop are used to purchase major equipment from the hospital’s wish list: wheelchairs, stretchers, patient lifts, infant isolette incubators, hemodialysis machines, vital signs monitors to name a few.

Even though we are in retail business, we follow our mission statement which is “Patient care is our focus.” Everything we do continues to focus on making the patient’s stay at Thunder Bay Regional as pleasant as possible.
