 Rarely
does it happen, in my opinion, that so much progress
can be reported in an organization in such a short period
of time. But members of the TBRHSC team of high performers
are doing it daily. Our patient focus is at a quality
of care level that is “best practice”. It
is because our Strategic Plan is unfolding in a way
that is achievable. Physicians, staff, and volunteers
care; and, it shows in the way our patients comment
on their care which is entrusted to us.
The Acute Care environment is unyielding. Yet, the testimonials
that continue to come to my office speak to the “heart
of the organization”. People appreciate what we
do for them.
We are an Academic Health Sciences Centre. We are,
as well, a growing centre for world class research.
Through all of this, our organization is changing to
meet redefined goals. The transformation is laudable.
As always, our strategies to care for our patients are
innovative, timely, and supportive. Notably, we continue
to reach out to our Regional Healthcare partners to
assist them in every way possible.
This website speaks to the achievements of our incredibly
dedicated, committed healthcare teams. I thank them
