Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre is a state-of-the-art
acute care facility serving the healthcare needs of people
living in Thunder Bay and Northwestern Ontario. An architectural
showpiece situated on a landscaped site of nearly 70 acres,
we are a stunning award-winning design that houses 375 acute
care beds.
We are looking for dedicated, team-focused Nuclear Medicine
Technologists who are willing to use their advanced skills
and knowledge in both a clinical and research environment.

to work in a modern fully digital diagnostic Imaging Department!
We have leading-edge technology with four general nuclear
medicine camera systems and our bone densitometry unit. Our
department is involved in the Molecular Medicine Research
Centre (MMRC) and partnered with Philips Medical and Sunnybrook
Health Sciences Centre. In the near future, we will be acquiring
both clinical and small animal SPECT/CT and PET/CT systems
to augment our current services.
We provide a wide range of innovative diagnostic and therapeutic
services for our orthopedic, oncology, and cardiac patients.
Besides hard-wired and wireless technology throughout, we
use Picture Archival Computer Systems to record the images
from all our DI services, which permits easy transportation
of files among radiologists and specialists anywhere so they
may view and assess images. The ability to store and move
the data of a patient from an Electronic Medical Record makes
the region’s hospitals of Northwestern Ontario a virtual
library whereby physicians and ‘need to know’
care providers can assist with patient care in an instant.
