Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre is celebrating National
Nursing Week from May 7 – 13, 2007.
Nurses are leaders, innovators and pioneers in all areas
of healthcare, from research to technology and advocacy. They
are improving the health of Canadians by charting the course
for a stronger and more vibrant health system for all.
The diversity and role complexity of TBRHSC Nurses is changing
the way we care for our patients.
Every year, Nursing Week allows us to recognize, celebrate
and honour the professional achievements of our Nurses, as
well as to promote and create awareness of the important contributions
that Nurses make to the health care of our community and region.
Join us at our Nursing Fair, on Thursday, May 10th from 2
- 4 p.m., in celebration of National Nursing Week as we profile
the various Nursing services and programs offered at TBRHSC.
TBRHSC is also hosting a Nursing Awards of Excellence Ceremony
on Friday, May 11th, where awards will be presented for Teaching,
Organizational Transformation/Teamwork, Regional Services
Integration, Quality Patient Care, Research, Compassion and
Caring, Leadership and the Chief Nursing Officer Award.
