Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre Lifts Visitor Restrictions

Visitor restrictions on Unit 2B have been lifted at Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre as the Enteric Outbreak has been declared over by the Thunder Bay District Health Unit.

As per our Visiting Policy, visitors are reminded that only two visitors per patient will be permitted. We strongly recommend that children not visit at this time.

The Health Sciences Centre asks that you stay at home for 48 hours if you are ill or if you have been in contact with a sick person.

Our goal is to protect your loved ones in the Health Sciences Centre.

We thank the community for their cooperation and assistance over the last week.
