Dr. Bryan MacLeod
Head, Palliative Care
Bryan MacLeod is a family physician from Thunder Bay,
Ontario. He cut his teeth as a rural family doctor in
Marathon, Ontario, after graduating from the Northwestern
Ontario Family Medicine Program in 1998.
He studied both Medicine and his initial calling of
Psychology at Queen’s University, Kingston.
He is a father of three young, bright, and busy children.
In his spare time, he is Head of Palliative Care for
Regional Cancer Care at the Thunder Bay Regional Health
Sciences Centre.
He is the outgoing Director of Faculty Development
for the Northern Ontario School of Medicine’s
(NOSM) Northwestern Ontario postgraduate program (NOMP).
He is an associate clinical professor for NOSM, as well
as the past chair of NOSM’s Faculty Development
Committee and Faculty Development Advisory Group.
