ReadPlease All women, regardless of age, should have a physical breast exam done by a doctor or nurse every year. Women age 50 to 74 should have a mammogram every two years. The Ontario Breast Screening Program (OBSP) offers free mammograms to women in this age group.

The Linda Buchan Centre for Breast Screening and Assessment Centre at TBRHSC, an OBSP affiliate, delivers a comprehensive and coordinated approach to address the needs of women and men with breast health concerns. The program complements the services of primary care physicians by providing a consistent and coordinated diagnostic process to aid in a positive, definitive outcome.
