The Infection Control Coordinator manages and operates the Infection Prevention and Control program in consultation with the Medical Director of Infection Control (Dr. Greg Gamble) and the Infection Prevention and Control team.

According to standards set out by the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care, screening procedures with respect to Febrile Respiratory Illness (FRI) are implemented for both inpatients and outpatients. FRI screening signs are posted at both entrances and reception desks.

In addition, all patients are asked to clean their hands with an alcohol hand sanitizer.
