- The operating room, also known as the O.R. is where
surgery takes place.
- Having surgery is also called having an operation.
- People of all ages need operations for many problems
that need to be fixed by a doctor.
- When someone has surgery (operation), a special
doctor called a surgeon works on or inside the body
to fix something that is wrong.
